Many leaders have difficulty understanding when employees do not have the same organizational committment or career perspectives as themselves. This column looks at engaging with others to understand their desire, or lack thereof, for development opportunities and growth. Using the analogy of a black-and-white photograph, it is how the various diverse pieces come together as a whole that results in a successful operational model.Downloads
